Drunken Tiger was a foundational Korean hip-hop act formed in 1998 by Korean-American MCs Tiger JK and DJ Shine. Their 1999 debut Year of the Tiger helped legitimize hip-hop in the Korean mainstream and set the template for the genre's lyricism and flow. Over two decades the project evolved into a vehicle for Tiger JK, often collaborating with his wife Yoon Mi-rae and labelmate Bizzy. The group released ten studio albums before concluding with Rebirth of Tiger JK in 2018.
