Über Bunny Mack

Bunny Mack was born in Freetown and started out singing with local bands, including Soundcasters '66, who moved to the United Kingdom and released their first single there in 1967. He built his solo career in London with the Sierra Leonean producer Akie Deen. Let Me Love You, released on the Rokel label in 1979, mixed disco and calypso into a dance-floor hit that earned him a gold disc. The song has been remixed and reissued many times since, and he died in London in 2015.
