Bodyslam

Über Bodyslam

Bodyslam, formed in Bangkok in 2002 around former Labanoon singer Athiwara Khongmalai, became Thailand's defining arena rock band of the 2000s. Their breakthrough album Save My Life (2003) pushed melodic post-grunge rock onto mainstream Thai radio, and the 2005 single Khwam Chuea — the soundtrack to the climactic scene of the football film Beautiful Boxer — became the band's signature. Their stadium tours of the late 2000s and 2010s routinely sold out Rajamangala National Stadium, and Wan Sin Pi remains a karaoke standard.
