A collective led by Argentine musician Gustavo Santaolalla and Uruguayan DJ Luciano Supervielle, Bajofondo pioneered tango electrónico, merging electronic production with the textures and spirit of Río de la Plata tango. Their Grammy-winning sound brought tango into the 21st century club scene while preserving its emotional core.
