About Tam Sir

Tam Sir is a producer and artist from Abidjan who assembled Coup du marteau in late 2023 with Team Paiya, Ste Milano, Renard Barakissa, Tazeboy and PSK. The track and its hammer-swing dance spread through the Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Côte d'Ivoire in early 2024 and became the tournament's unofficial anthem. It is the clearest recent proof that coupé-décalé still exports a dance faster than anything else on the continent. His catalogue as a lead artist is short and built almost entirely on that record.
