Sigrid Solbakk Raabe, from Ålesund on Norway's west coast, became the country's biggest pop breakout of the late 2010s. Her 2017 single Don't Kill My Vibe made her the BBC Sound of 2018 winner, and Strangers became a UK top-10 hit. Her stripped-back, belt-driven pop and refusal of the polished pop-star image positioned her as a festival mainstay across Europe. She recorded the soundtrack single Home for the film Justice League and continues to release albums into the 2020s.
