Reynaldo Armas is one of the great singer-songwriters of the Venezuelan plains, a llanero star who has filled the joropo tradition with his own compositions for half a century. Born in Guárico state, he built a vast catalog of songs about country life, love, and the land, and became a fixture of the annual Elorza festival. His warm baritone and prolific output made him one of the most recorded llanera artists of his generation.
