Bristol trio Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons, and Adrian Utley released only three studio albums in three decades but each was a moment. Dummy (1994) won the Mercury Prize and became one of the 90s' defining records; Third (2008) returned with a colder, more abrasive sound that influenced a generation of electronic music. Their tempo of one album per decade is its own statement.
