About Pino Daniele
Pino Daniele fused Neapolitan song with blues, jazz, and North African rhythms to create a sound he called tarumbò, giving Naples a modern musical identity. Singing in Neapolitan dialect, he wrote tender and politically charged anthems like Napule è that became hymns for the city. A gifted guitarist admired by international stars, he remained the soul of Naples until his death, mourned across Italy as one of its most original voices.
