About Olga Guillot
Olga Guillot was the undisputed Queen of the Bolero. From her start with the Hermanitas Guillot in the 1940s she built a career defined by dramatic, full-throated romantic singing that became the template for generations of Latin American balladeers. She left Cuba in 1961 in opposition to the revolution and continued recording from Mexico for the next half century.
