About Lee Moon-sae
Lee Moon-sae is a singer and radio personality who became one of the defining ballad icons of the 1980s. Beginning his recording career in 1978, he reached his creative peak with a run of albums in the mid-to-late 1980s, many written with composer Lee Young-hoon. Songs like Red Sunset and Gwanghwamun Love Song remain standards of Korean pop and are still widely covered today. His warm baritone made him a fixture of Korean radio and a lasting influence on later ballad singers.
