About Grace Decca
Grace Decca came out of the Decca family, one of the central names in Douala makossa, and established herself as a lead voice in her own right through the 1990s. Doï La Mulema is the record that made that case. She sings in Duala and works the melodic, vocal side of makossa rather than its dance-floor end. She remains one of the genre's most recognisable women.
