First Aid Kit are the sisters Klara and Johanna Soderberg from Enskede, near Stockholm, who built a devoted following on close harmony and Americana-inspired songwriting. A YouTube cover first drew attention, but it was originals like Emmylou and My Silver Lining that established them. Their music pays loving tribute to American folk and country while remaining unmistakably Swedish in its melancholy. They have become one of Sweden's most successful folk-rooted acts of the 2010s and beyond.
