About Diane Dufresne
Diane Dufresne is the theatrical voice of chanson québécoise. From the early 1970s she staged her songs with elaborate costumes and operatic delivery, and her recording of Hymne à la beauté du monde, written by Luc Plamondon and François Cousineau, became a Quebec environmental anthem. She continued to tour and stage into the 2010s.
