The guitar-and-vocals duo of Tak Matsumoto and Koshi Inaba have sold more records than any other Japanese act in history, more than eighty million domestically. Formed in 1988, B'z built their reputation on stadium-grade rock anthems with English-titled choruses (Ultra Soul, Love Phantom, Don't Leave Me) and have been inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk on Sunset Boulevard, the only Asian act so honoured.
