Blanche Bailly moved between Cameroon, France and the United States before releasing Kam We Stay in 2016 and becoming one of the country's biggest pop exports. She sings in pidgin, French and English over Afrobeats production and built her audience largely through video and social platforms. Mimbayeur consolidated that position the following year. She has since worked with Lady Ponce, bridging pop and bikutsi.
