Black T Igwe works the harder, more percussive end of Togolese dance-pop, with records built around a chant and a step. Boto is the one that travelled furthest. He sings in Ewé and Mina and has kept a steady release rate through the late 2010s and 2020s. He records and collaborates largely within the Lomé scene rather than reaching outward.
