About Amjad Ali Khan

The reigning master of the sarod, Amjad Ali Khan represents the sixth generation of a musical lineage tracing back to Mian Tansen. He modernized sarod technique while maintaining classical purity, and his sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash continue the family tradition on global stages.
