ABBA
About ABBA
ABBA are the Swedish quartet who became one of the best-selling acts in pop history. Formed in Stockholm by two couples, Agnetha Faltskog and Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, they won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo and went on to define a decade of glossy, melancholy pop. Behind the hits sat real drama, as both couples divorced while the group kept recording. In 2021 they reunited for the album Voyage and a digital concert residency, four decades after their last record.
