À propos de Pop Mexicano
Mexican pop, descended from the bolero-balada of the 1960s and 1970s and turned into a commercial product through Televisa, EMI Capitol, and a network of singer-actors trained on telenovelas. José José built the romantic ballad template; Luis Miguel scaled it; Thalía, Paulina Rubio, and Belinda exported it; Marco Antonio Solís bridged it back to grupera roots. The form remains the country's dominant adult-contemporary radio sound.
