Norwegian-language rap, which moved from the margins to the cultural centre through the Oslo duo Karpe. Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid and Chirag Rashmikant Patel built a body of work about immigration, identity, and growing up brown in Norway, and in 2022 sold out the Oslo Spektrum arena for ten consecutive nights, the longest such run by any Norwegian act.
