À propos de Kiwi Indie
The lineage of independent New Zealand guitar music that grew out of Flying Nun Records and the Dunedin Sound in the early 1980s, defined by the Clean, the Chills, the Verlaines, and the Bats. Their jangling, lo-fi aesthetic became one of the most influential underground sounds of the decade, and the label's later signings such as Aldous Harding and Marlon Williams keep the tradition alive into the 2020s.
