Wardruna
À propos de Wardruna
Wardruna, formed in Bergen in 2003 by Einar Selvik, reconstructs the music of the Viking and Norse past using historical instruments — bukkehorn goat horns, the kraviklyra, deer-hide frame drums, and Old Norse runic poetry. Their Runaljod trilogy of albums, built around the runes of the Elder Futhark, became a global phenomenon after Selvik's music was featured in the History Channel series Vikings. They have sold out venues from the Acropolis to Red Rocks, and made Norse folk a living international genre rather than a museum piece.
