He has held the title of Senegal's most-streamed artist through the second half of the 2010s and into the 2020s, and his Bercy and Accor Arena shows in Paris have made him a flagship for the Senegalese diaspora. He is one of the few mbalax artists working comfortably across the genre's old guard and the streaming generation.
