Son of Toumani Diabaté and one of the central figures in modern Malian pop, Sidiki bridges the kora tradition his family has carried for over seventy generations with hip-hop, R&B, and afrobeats production. His 2014 single Iniké made him a streaming-era star across the Mande-speaking world. He has used his platform to keep the kora visible in genres that would otherwise leave it behind.
