À propos de Cardinal Rex Lawson

Cardinal Rex Lawson was one of the most popular highlife trumpeters and singers of the 1960s, a man of Kalabari and Igbo heritage who sang in many of Nigeria's languages. Leading his Mayor's Band, he scored enduring hits before his life was cut short in a car crash in 1971. His warm voice and danceable horn lines remain touchstones of classic highlife.
