À propos de Prince Nico Mbarga

Prince Nico Mbarga, leader of Rocafil Jazz, recorded what may be the most popular African song ever made. His 1976 highlife anthem Sweet Mother, a tender tribute to motherhood sung in pidgin English, sold an estimated thirteen million copies and is beloved across the entire continent. Blending Nigerian highlife with Cameroonian and Congolese guitar styles, he created a sound that crossed every border in Africa.
