À propos de Orishas

Formed in Havana in 1999 and based in Paris, Orishas built their sound by laying Cuban hip-hop verses over son, rumba, and salsa samples. Their debut A Lo Cubano introduced a new template for Latin rap, and tracks like 537 C.U.B.A. and Represent Cuba became anthems of the Cuban diaspora. After breaking up in 2010 the group reformed in 2018 for further albums and tours.
