Massive Attack

À propos de Massive Attack

Bristol collective Robert del Naja, Grant Marshall, and Andrew Vowles (the latter departed in 1999) produced trip-hop's founding document with Blue Lines (1991), then darkened the formula on Mezzanine (1998) with Liz Fraser's vocals on Teardrop. Their use of dub bass, hip-hop sampling, and rotating guest vocalists set the template for an entire 1990s aesthetic.
