Los Ángeles Azules
À propos de Los Ángeles Azules
Los Ángeles Azules, a family group from Iztapalapa in Mexico City, refined a polished, accordion-and-keyboard cumbia that crossed working-class neighbourhoods into the country's pop mainstream. Their 1996 breakthrough album El Listón de Tu Pelo provided the wedding-and-quinceañera staples 17 Años and Cómo Te Voy a Olvidar. Their 2018 collaborations album Esto Sí Es Cumbia and the follow-up project De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo, with guests including Natalia Lafourcade and Ximena Sariñana, returned them to the centre of Latin pop. They headline Coachella in 2024.
