À propos de Laibach
Laibach are Slovenia's most internationally recognised band and one of the most provocative art projects of post-war Europe. Founded in 1980 in the mining town of Trbovlje, they took the German name for Ljubljana and weaponised the iconography of totalitarianism to interrogate how power, propaganda, and pop work. As founding members of the Neue Slowenische Kunst collective, they exposed authoritarian aesthetic by mimicking it. They have covered the Beatles, Bach, and the soundtrack to The Sound of Music with the same straight face, played North Korea in 2015, and influenced everyone from Rammstein to industrial culture at large.
