À propos de Iwan Fals

Iwan Fals is Indonesia's Bob Dylan, an acoustic singer-songwriter who turned protest song into the moral conscience of a generation. His songs Bento and Bongkar attacked the Suharto regime so directly that he was banned from television and stadiums in the late 1980s. He lost his teenage son in 1997 and shifted into a more reflective late-career mode, but his concerts still fill stadiums and his fans, Oi!, are organised as a national movement.
