Halott Pénz are the Budapest electronic-pop duo turned full band that defined Hungarian streaming-era hit-making in the 2010s. Singer Márton "Marci" Járai and producer György Tóth built a sound that drops Hungarian-language rap and indie-pop choruses over polished electronic production, and their festival shows (VOLT, Sziget, Telekom) have headlined every Hungarian summer for a decade. The band's run from "Élnünk kellett volna" through "Felnőttünk, de nem fogadjuk el" maps the arc of millennial Magyar pop.
