À propos de Fela Kuti

Fela Kuti invented afrobeat and used it as a weapon. Fusing Yoruba rhythm, jazz, funk, and highlife into hypnotic grooves that could run twenty minutes, he sang in pidgin English against military dictatorship, corruption, and colonialism. His Kalakuta Republic commune and Shrine club made him a folk hero, and his fearless music made him one of the most important African artists of the century.
