Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey is one of the two giants of jùjú music, alongside King Sunny Adé. Leading his Inter-Reformers Band, he wove Yoruba proverbs, Christian themes, and gentle philosophy into long, flowing miliki-style songs. His warm storytelling and melodic guitar work made him a household name across Nigeria for decades.
