The godfather of gully rap, Divine grew up in Mumbai's Andheri slums and turned street rap into a national movement. His viral track Mere Gully Mein inspired the Bollywood film Gully Boy, and Apna Time Aayega became a generational anthem. He founded the Gully Gang record label and remains Indian hip-hop's most prominent figure.
