À propos de Amadou & Mariam

Husband-and-wife duo Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia, both blind, who met at Bamako's Institute for the Young Blind in 1975 and have been making music together ever since. Their 2005 album Dimanche à Bamako, produced by Manu Chao, made them the first Malian act to chart widely across Europe in the streaming era. Welcome to Mali (2008) extended that reach with collaborations from Damon Albarn and K'naan, and the duo continues to tour internationally.
