À propos de Air
Air is the Versailles-based duo of Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin, whose cinematic, downtempo electronic music offered a dreamy counterpoint to the harder sounds of French Touch. Their 1998 debut 'Moon Safari' became a global sensation, blending analog synthesizers, lush orchestration, and whispered vocals into something utterly distinctive. They scored Sofia Coppola's 'The Virgin Suicides,' cementing their reputation as electronic artists with filmic sensibility. Air expanded the definition of French electronic music beyond the dancefloor.
