Rap ivoire is Abidjan rap written mostly in nouchi, the city's street argot, over beats that borrow as readily from coupé-décalé as from trap or drill. Kiff No Beat gave it national reach in the mid 2010s, and Didi B, Suspect 95 and Himra have since pushed it in commercial, polemical and drill directions. It is now the fastest-growing part of Ivorian music.
