Tokio Hotel became a global teen phenomenon with 'Durch den Monsun' in 2005, the debut single that topped charts across Europe. Led by twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz from Magdeburg, they sold over 10 million records and won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best InterAct, bringing German rock to a new generation of international fans.
