The Rolling Stones

Über The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962 as a Chicago blues covers band, the Stones became the longest-running stadium rock act in history. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards' songwriting partnership produced the genre's most copied riffs (Satisfaction, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Brown Sugar) and a confrontational image that defined what a rock band could look like. Sixty-plus years in, they are still touring.
