The Naked and Famous are an Auckland indie-electronic band who scored one of New Zealand's biggest international breakthroughs of the 2010s. Their 2010 single Young Blood topped the New Zealand chart and became a global synth-pop anthem, carried by the interplay of Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers. Their soaring, anthemic sound made their debut Passive Me, Aggressive You a landmark of the era's electropop.
