Shihad are the biggest rock band New Zealand has produced, a Wellington four-piece who have powered from industrial metal to widescreen alternative rock since forming in 1988. Across a run of number-one albums they became a fixture of the Australasian rock scene, and anthems like Home Again and Pacifier are staples of Kiwi radio. Their longevity and live power made them an institution of the local rock canon.
