Serge Beynaud is the coupé-décalé artist who built his career on dances rather than feuds. Loko Loko in 2012 and Talehi in 2014 each arrived with a step attached, and both spread through Abidjan and the diaspora on video before radio caught up. He writes and produces his own material, which is unusual in a scene built around producer and performer pairings. He is still releasing singles a decade later.
