Seo Taiji and Boys were a trio formed by Seo Taiji alongside dancers Yang Hyun-suk and Lee Juno, active from 1992 to 1996. Their 1992 debut single I Know fused rap, rock, and new jack swing with Korean lyrics and topped domestic charts for a record-setting run. The group is widely credited with revolutionizing Korean popular music and laying the template for modern K-pop. Yang Hyun-suk later founded YG Entertainment, one of the industry's dominant labels.
