Über Saba Alizadeh

Kamancheh player and son of Hossein Alizadeh, who puts the instrument through electronics and field recordings rather than into a classical ensemble. He also works as a photographer, and his records tend to carry a documentary quality about contemporary Tehran. Nafir, released in 2023, is among the most striking Iranian instrumental recordings of recent years. Temple of Hope followed in 2025.
