Her second album The Art of Loving and its single Man I Need went to number one in the same week in October 2025, the first such double by a British woman since Adele, and she was the year's breakthrough act on the Official Charts. Her warm, retro-leaning songwriting drew comparisons with Amy Winehouse and Corinne Bailey Rae.
