Songwriter who brought a poetic and existential register to Greenlandic popular music from the late 1980s, moving it away from the directly political writing of the Sumé years. Zoo Inuillu appeared on ULO's Greenland Calling compilation in 1989 and remains his best-known song. He has kept releasing across three decades, including Qaqqat Asiilasut in 2004 and Kikiak in 2006. His writing is usually discussed alongside the shift from anti-colonial statement to interior reflection.
