Monetochka is a singer-songwriter from Yekaterinburg who started out in 2015 by posting songs on VKontakte as a teenager. Working with producer Viktor Isaev, she moved from ironic internet pop to a sharper, more melancholic sound on the 2018 album Raskraski dlya vzroslykh, whose single Kazhdyy raz was named single of the year at the Jager Music Awards. Nimfomanka topped the Yandex Music chart in 2019. She moved to Lithuania in 2022 and released the album Molitvy. Anekdoty. Tosty. in 2024, which includes Selfkharm.
