Über Marjan Farsad

Singer, songwriter and animator whose songs are small, soft and deliberately unpolished, a long way from the orchestral scale of classic Persian pop. Khooneye Ma, from the 2014 album Blue Flowers, is her best known song and circulates widely among Iranians abroad as a song about home. She makes her own animated videos. She has been based in Canada for most of her recording career.
